11/30/2017: Richard Painter

Edina Indivisible is hosting an evening with Richard Painter, the vice-chairman of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, to talk about his lawsuit against President Trump.

The lawsuit (CREW v. Trump) is a response to Mr. Trump’s refusal to sell off some business assets and place the rest into a blind trust, as every president has done for the past four decades. According to Mr. Painter, who served as the chief White House ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration, “If Obama had tried that, we would have impeached him in two weeks”.

Space is limited so we are asking everyone to please RSVP ↓ to this event. Thank you.
